Hi, I'm Blythe!
Welcome to my corner
of the Internet
I grew up in a small town surrounded by fields and farms, but agriculture was never really on my radar. I didn’t come from a farming family, and as a kid, I couldn’t have told you the difference between a haybine and a combine.
That all changed when I started milking cows for some family friends. What began as a way to help out quickly became something I looked forward to every day. I loved the quiet early mornings, the steady rhythm of the barn, the warmth of the cows in the winter, and the deep satisfaction that came from a hard day’s work.

From there, life took me to agriculture college — a decision that opened up an entirely new world. I met people who spoke the same “language” I did, I learned about sides of agriculture I had never experienced before, and I made friendships that I know will last a lifetime.
Since then, I’ve built my career in the dairy industry, and it has truly become my passion. I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people, hearing their stories, and playing a small role in an industry that feeds communities. Along the way, I also met the man who would become my partner in life — someone who shares my love for agriculture and cows, and we have big plans for the future.
This podcast and blog is a place where I share the moments that inspire me, the lessons I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way), the things I LOVE, and the everyday beauty of life in agriculture. Whether you’re a farmer, an industry professional, or simply curious about where your food comes from, I’m so glad you’re here.
